LUNA supported the Berryessa flea market vendors in their campaign to advocate for vendors rights. During a series of negotiations and meetings with city council, the vendors association had a major win, ensuring financial reinstitutions for vendors and a compromise to ensure the creation of a new market space created with the guidance of an advisory group that will be composed of members of the Berryessa flea market vendors association. LUNA fully supports vendors and will continue to stand beside them in their advocacy for justice.

TRANSPORTATION

​Our team knows how important transportation is for many of our community members, for this reason LUNA is part of the Transportation Equity Task Force for the City of San Jose, providing insights on what to consider when bringing emerging mobility resources to the city.  You can read more about the task force in this link.
