Tropicana ChapterOur Tropicana Chapter started in 2015 when a group of LUNA leaders went across the neighborhood taking surveys about the concerns of the neighborhood. Our leaders went door to door in the neighborhood westward of highway 101 between Story Rd and Tully Rd, connecting with the community and learning about the different issues people cared about. After the surveys were taken, a plan was made to start house meetings, to talk about what issues should be prioritized. The first campaign was around security, and after many house meetings, a neighborhood watch campaign was developed. From these efforts, LUNA started to grow and to expand, but even today, the Tropicana chapter is the home for our longest project, the community park we have been fighting for for the last 5 years
